2. Next, navigate to the “Account” option. You will find this on the left window pane. Click on it.
3. Then, you will find the option “Change Name” click on it.
4. This will open the dashboard that says “Change Your Account Name”.

6. If you want to change the name and have a premium account, click on the “Next Step” button.
7. Now, another dashboard will be displayed in front of you that will provide you with the three options. These are

• Change First Name option.
• Change the Last name option.
• A list of the previous last names you have used if you want to use them again. 

Change Your First Name In Second Life

If you want to change only your first name in Second Life, follow the below steps.

1. Checkmark the option that says “Change First Name”.
2. Uncheck the option that says “Change Last Name‘.
3. In the text field provided, write down the name you wish to have.

Change Your Last Name In Second Life

Unlike the First name, the platform won’t give you an option to keep the second name as per your choice. You have to select from the list provided.

1. Checkmark the option that says “Change Last Name”.
2. Uncheck the option that says “Change First Name‘.
3. Now, you will be provided with the list of your Last Name. Choose any one of them

Change Both Your First And Last Names

To change your whole name follow the steps given below.

1. Checkmark the option that says “Change First Name”.
2. Checkmark the option that says “Change Last Name”.
3. Now, in the text field provided below Change First Name write down the name that you wish to have.
4. Under Change Your Last Name, you will be provided with the list of your Last Name. Choose any one of them.

How To Set The Previously Used Name On Second Life

To do so, you have to follow the same steps as given above. However, you have to make sure that the Last name you used previously is available again in the list.

1. Checkmark the option that says “Change First Name”.
2. Checkmark the option that says “Change Last Name”.
3. Now, in the text field provided below Change First Name write down the name that you used previously.
4. Under Change Your Last Name, you will be provided with the list of your Last Name. Choose the one you used previously.

Saving The Changes

1. Once you have made all the changes, click on the “Review Changes‘ button.
2. A summary of all the changes made will be displayed.
3. If you are sure to proceed, click on the “Continue to Checkout Button.”

Making Payments

Well, changing the name on Second Life isn’t free. You will have to pay some amount for it.

1. On the Checkout page, you will be provided with the Payment options.
2. Select your preferred mode of transaction and click on the “Buy Now” button.
